  • The bike features a stylish design and is offered in two colors: radiant orange and denim blue.

Young electric does say that the eflow will go up to 90 miles per battery charge but a lot of things depend on…the terrain, how much pedal assist you use.

Young Electric E-Flow Technical Specifications

  • The E-Flow is powered by a 750W rear hub motor generating 1180W peak power and 88Nm torque.
  • Equipped with a Shimano 7-speed transmission with an Altus derailleur and a trigger system.
  • The bike has a 52-tooth chain ring to aid in reducing ghost pedaling.
  • The braking system uses Logan two-piston hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors for enhanced stopping power.

It has a Shimano 7-speed transmission along with an Altus derailleur and the Shimano seven-speed trigger system.

Components and Battery Details

  • The bike features mag wheels with six spokes and 20 by 4-inch puncture-resistant Chaang tires.
  • Powered by a 48V, 20Ah battery with 960Wh, the E-Flow includes a 3A charger for a 6-7 hour full charge.
  • Charging options include an on-bike port or removable battery with a locking mechanism for indoor charging.

The battery is 48 volts it’s got 20 amp hours with it and 960w hours of power.

Folding and Adjustability of the E-Flow E-Bike

  • The seat and stem are adjustable, accommodating riders from 5′ to over 6′ tall.
  • The bike offers adjustable handlebars for personalized comfort and plastic components like fenders, pedals, and a rear rack for convenience.

Let’s talk about the size and fit as we pull this up it has numbers here on the back this is showing that it’s at its highest position right here.

Performance and Handling of the E-bike

  • The pedal assist levels were tested, with speeds ranging from 10 mph in level one to 23 mph in level five.
  • The throttle can reach 20 mph regardless of the pedal assist level selected.
  • A speed test was conducted, showing quick acceleration both with pedal assist only and using the throttle.
  • The bike showcased strong off-road capabilities, including climbing hills effortlessly.

This bike takes off quickly, a little bit aggressive. That was like a couple of seconds quicker than using pedal assist so that kind of gives you an idea on how powerful they have this motor set up.

Battery Life and Display Features

  • The battery level dropped by one bar during the ride, indicating a potential concern with battery life.
  • The display initially showed 60% battery but later increased after a rest period, displaying a possible inconsistency in power readings.
  • The bike features a lock for security during stops, with a convenient key mechanism and a notable Z logo for identification.

Some of these displays show that you have one voltage level, and then once the bike rests for a little bit, it comes back, and it shows the true amount since no pressure or power is going towards the battery.

Trail Experience and Bike Gearing

  • The bike was tested on a windy Lakeshore Trail in Chicago, showcasing its exceptional gearing and performance.
  • Noteworthy praise was given to the bike’s gearing, which was described as the best among foldable bikes tested, offering a seamless riding experience.
  • The rider considered upgrading the seat due to its firmness after 13 miles of riding, indicating individual preferences play a role.

The gearing on this bike is probably one of the best that I have ridden when it comes to foldable bikes. Everything just works out so well.

Battery Performance Concerns

  • The presenter notes a drop in speed despite effortful pedaling, indicating the bike’s capacity may not meet expectations.
  • Expresses concern over battery drainage with reduced mileage despite exerting maximum effort.
  • Hopes for extended mileage but suspects limitations might be due to the display inaccuracies.

“but as you can see just normal pedaling just cruising along we’re still at 23 but this bike will go faster than 23 mph we have already dropped down to two batteries and that is concerning.”

Testing Bike Performance and Battery Drain

  • The presenter tests the bike’s performance by pushing it to its maximum speed limit.
  • Observes satisfactory braking performance and praises the bike’s tires for their traction on various terrains.
  • Notes a perceived drop in battery life as the bars decrease, remaining wary of the remaining distance.

“I got this thing I want to make sure I take it up all the way let’s go as fast as you can go 23 24 somewhere around there oh man she doesn’t squeal or nothing 26 ft man that felt this thing felt great stop it these Logan brakes work really well plus these tires I mean I really like these tires”
